Hi, I’m Dan, part nerd, part designer, part team mascot. For the past 15+ years I have been building, leading, and sometimes resurrecting design and product teams across finance, tech, big data, automotive, and healthcare. I have worn the startup hoodie, the corporate badge, and the lone wolf headset, and learned something useful from each.

I am at my best when the challenge is messy: merging design and engineering cultures, untangling old systems, or helping teams rediscover the joy in creating things people actually love to use. I believe in human-centered, data-informed design, the kind that is tested, iterated, tested again, and still has a spark of soul.

My north star is building products (and teams) that work beautifully, look great, and make sense, while keeping things accessible, ethical, and maybe even fun.
